For the Love of Words: December 2019

As I’m in the middle of my writing break because life, I look back at December and realize I edited and published a book in a month. It’s almost been a month since cameras and confessions came out on kindle.

Despite those two big accomplishments, I feel like I wasn’t that creative. NaNoWriMo was a stretch on my creativity and I really feel like I failed but it feels like it’s been a long time since I’ve really been creative.

I hope that 2020 is different but 2019 wasn’t big on creativity. December wasn’t an exception to this disappointment, as I don’t feel like editing really counts as being creative. Not like writing a first draft and getting messy and creative.

A short update, but I hope to really get back to writing in the next week as I get settled into my new place!
