It’s funny to think that in October, it will be ten years since I was a top pick on inkpop. Ten years of sharing stories and novels online for people to read and buy. However I haven’t ever taken y’all in depth into my actual writing process.
Every writer has a different process and it wasn’t until I wrote and published all three Emily Burnet Series books last year that I got a better understanding of my individual writing process and I’m excited to dive in and show y’all some in-depth looks at how I write books.
Some topics I’m going to cover:
- Where I Find Inspiration
- How I Outline
- How many drafts I write
- My editing process
While this will focus on how I write books, I’m thinking about doing a series about my publishing process next year, too. Indie publishing is a crazy process and it can change time and time again, but there are some things that I stick to time and time again.
We’ll start next week with the first part of the writing – finding my inspiration. Want to know how I handle a specific part of the process? Let me know below!
