A Book Update

I realized that since I started Ginger & Books and spun all the writing aspects of my life off to a new blog, I hardly ever talk about my book on here. So, today, I’m giving you a book update. It feels like it’s about time.
A while ago (I think back in March), I delayed the book again. With at least a dozen papers to finish for finals, along with regular classes, and holidays, I knew I wouldn’t be able to dedicate the time to edits that I wanted to.
So I postponed it. It made sense and it still does now. For a while, I thought I was going to scrap the whole thing again, and make it an adult novel. But, I didn’t get very far, and after a long talk with my editor, I decided it made more sense to work with what I already had. It wasn’t bad, but it did need work.
Now, I’m finishing up my last round of edits before it’s off to the editor and we do some edits. I hope to have it out soon. Until then, I’m going back to my roots (like inkpop) and posting some chapters to WriteOn and a website called Inkkit. You can read it either place.
