At least that’s the case for me.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
PROBABLY IN A DOCTOR’S OFFICE
As a kid, I grew up spending many days in doctors’ offices and therapists’ offices. The older sister of a special needs kid, many afternoons involved coming home to school to turn around and go to his appointments.
In those early days, I remember my mom always having a book around. Before the age of cell phones, Mom always had a book to read to pass the time. At some point in my life, I started doing the same (a kindle is great for on-the-go).

WRITE ABOUT YOURSELF
If my love for books and reading didn’t start at a doctor’s office, it really started in first grade. That was the first time I read an entire book in one day, Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus.
Eventually, the love for reading spilled over into a love of writing and by thirteen, I was working on my first novel, an early draft of what would be The Assassin, my debut novel. At thirty, I’ve published six novels, and there are more in the works.
