And She Runs is out now
Over the past year and a half, I’ve been working on a secret project. The working title was Project Whisper because it was a secret. The in September, I finally came up with the title for this book, along with the title for every book in this series. That absolutely never happens – getting all the titles at once.
Now, over the last few months, I’ve written, rewritten, and checked this book with seven different spellcheckers. Today’s the day And She Runs is finally out.

And She Runs
Cassandra Morgan is going to snatch her man. New to the F.B.I., she’s assigned to find rogue agent Connor Anders, a man who left without warning the week before she joined. Capturing Anders would prove that she belongs in the F.B.I.
But Cassie finds herself distracted from the assignment when a chance encounter with a serial killer sends her world scrambling. After the Assassin escapes prison, he makes it clear with each murder – he’ll find Cassie again. She’s not sure how she solves one assignment while trying not to become the victim in another, until Connor Anders comes out with a confession. He thinks he might know who helped the Assassin escape prison and he’ll help Cassie catch them both if she keeps the F.B.I. off his back.
A deal with a traitor to survive a serial killer? It might work, if she’s not stabbed in the back first.
Yes, that’s right. And She Runs is a rewrite of The Assassin. There were a lot of reasons to do so, and I’ll share those later this week but this felt like the right thing for Cassie’s story and for my own sanity.
I promise, there is more to this book than just rewriting The Assassin, so I hope you’ll give me and And She Runs a shot.
