Howdy.

Howdy, I’m Laura. I’m the 20 year-old award winning author, ex (semi) professional photographer, student assistant for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Senior Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, full time college kid.

Wow, ok, that’s a lot. But, what can I say? I’m a do-it-all gal. I’m a big dreamer with a hard core work ethic to make those dreams a reality. In July 2014, I’ll be self-publishing my first book, The Assassin. A month later, I plan to (fingers crossed) make my Sales Director debut with in Mary Kay. Someday, I’ll be the only mystery author you know driving a pink Cadillac!

While those are my passions, I’m currently a student at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. I live half a mile away from the Walls Unit, which is where state prisoners are executed. At SHSU, I’m a Mass Communications major, with an emphasis in Public Relations & Advertising. I’m also a Creative Writing Minor.

In my very spare free time, I love listening to country music, browsing pinterest and watching tv shows like Castle, Nashville, and Scandal.

I’m super excited to be here in a brand new place and space and I can’t wait to see what it’s store for the next few years!
