Read & Recharge #2

So on top of making a new series, I forgot to come back the second week. No, I’m kidding. I didn’t forget, I just had a super busy weekend last weekend and didn’t get to sit down to write it. So, no recharging on my end last week.
Read and Recharge
This past week at work was a long one, but a big one. I got shuffled around on a few accounts, and I had a few chance where I was “let go” on my own, so to speak. This girl is finally getting out of training, I hope.
Book wise, I’m planning to finish up the first draft of Justice & Lies this weekend (yay three day weekend!) and then turn around to get started on edits for Double Played.
I also have several blog ideas brewing in my head, I just need to take the time to sit down and work on them. Right now, I’m just focused on fiction.

Now, let’s focus on a few posts I’m loving:

Mandy, from A Girl, Obsessed, wrote this post on Organically Growing Your Blog. Definitely something I’m loving as I focus on what I want out of blogging, and what I can give to blogging.
Kory recently merged her portfolio site and her blog site, and I think her reasons why are perfect. Merging websites is something I have brewing in the back of my mind as well, so just stay tuned and see what’s happening.
As I’m in the middle of working on Double Played, the fear of the sophomore slumps is a real fear. So when Kaitlin shared some ways to write an awesome sequel, I was so excited.
Landing pages (and lead pages) are important when launching new things. Also, you need to know how to make them pretty, so I share this post with you, from Lindsay of White Oak Creative.
Lastly, this is such a great post about how to make the most of your money, and how to get more of it. Abagail and Emilyee have such great tips for entrepreneurs, and their blog is one I read a lot.
