The Balancing Act of Life
It’s been quiet around here, huh? Part intention, part….not so much. Last week, I took a break from blogging because I wasn’t feeling it. And that’s the nice thing about blogging. If I don’t feel the motivation at all, then I can take some time away. My original intention was to come back Monday with a slew of new posts, but then life happened.
I went home last weekend to go to the doctor and get my foot checked out (turns out it’s healing well, and I am officially boot free!). Well, I got a really nasty cold last week that hit me full force over the weekend. Still not completely over it, but life is dragging me along with it, cold or not.
This week, I’m hoping to finally getting around to apply for some jobs. There was one specific thing that I was holding off on before I started applying, but now that one thing is taken care of, there’s no reason not to start applying.
Besides that, classes are starting to get interesting. Lots of projects and client work. I’m also finishing up The Assassin, and working on some publicity for the book coming up in October and November. Life is a balancing act, and right now, I sometimes feel like I’m not quite doing it right.
But you only live once, and I’m a klutz, so I balance the best I can. I think I’m doing pretty well.
