The Ginger's Blog Tips: Social Media

Social media is a big part of being a successful blogger. There’s facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, G+ – the list is on and on. How does one keep up with it all? Social media is the way to keep up and expand upon your audience. My tip for keeping care of it everything?
Social Media

Scheduling. Last week I talked about how using a blog planner can help you schedule posts way ahead of time, but in today’s world, a blog post not shared on social media is almost as good as a dead post. Harsh, but true.

Scheduling social media can really step up your blog game! Click To Tweet
I can’t tell you how important it is to share your post, not just once, but numerous times, even months after you’ve posted – at least if it’s evergreen content (ie, you can use it any time of the year, it’s not seasonally based). The tools I use to schedule things? I use buffer for social media – I can schedule things way in advance (I’m on the Awesome plan) and I use Viraltag to schedule pins. I’m constantly pinning something, even when I’m asleep. I have numerous tweets going out a day, but the nice thing is, it takes me an hour to get everything done for the week. If you want to up your blogging game, like I said last week, keeping ahead is so important and worth the investment!
What are some of your tricks for social media?
